Try Me

The drugs nearly killed her, and she wanted it that way. The memories invade...

Cheyenne, the privileged child of famous musicians, creates a living hell for herself after her parents die unexpectedly. All she wants is for the pain to stop, so she uses the only pain killer she knows—drugs, and lots of them. In her struggle to forget, will she walk into the wrong alley and end up joining her parents in their graves? Or will she find the only drug dealer who will refuse to let her fall?

Sam knows her as Rosie. An observant detective, with a weak spot for those who can be reformed, Sam thinks she has a shot at reclaiming her future…and her son. Tyler is the reason she’s not wasted now, but neither her little boy nor Sam can truly and fully save her. To help Rosie reclaim what she lost, Sam filters through the spotty memory
of the ex-drug addict to try and find the man who changed Rosie’s life, sobering her before losing himself.

But there was no drug strong enough to erase her from Doyle’s memory.

No matter how hard Doyle tried, he could not forget her, not the way she had forgotten him. Now, it’s up to him to fight against the blissful drugged world he hid behind and take on the kingpin who tried to take Doyle’s future and kill the only person he has ever loved.
But can he succeed and win her back without killing her himself?
